GUIDELINE of EXHIBITON POSTERS

• Theme: Sustainable Energy.
The main theme is about sustainable energy. Participants may appreciate or translate this theme into various sub-themes and does not deviate from the main theme.
• Requirements:
1. Participants were divided into two categories that are college students and high school students in Bandung
2. Participants completing the registration form provided on OSIS and BEM of each school or university and photo copy of identity, (or a form can be downloaded on UNPAD IAAS LC blog)
3. Registration fee for high school students is 30,000, for college students: 50,000, deposited to the OSIS and BEM of each school or university
4. Participants may submit more than one work/creation
• Terms of race:
1. Contested works/creation never published, original, authentic 100% and not use elements that infringe copyright and the ethics of making copyright (not an imitation or replica)
2. Works/creation submitted in the form HARD COPY, posters results
3. Works/creation submitted A3-sized
4. does not contain SARA elements
5. Using English
6. Posters should meet the following criteria:
Visible : easy to see
Interesting : Interesting
Structured : Structured
Useful : Useful, informative
Legitimate : Follow the requirements

• Work submitted become committee property
• Announcement of winners will be made after an international seminar / UNPAD FAIR
• The poster will be exhibited at UNPAD FAIR
• Assessment:

The points of judges assessment is:
Originality works
Adjustment of the theme, the scope of exploratory theme with a design concept
Quality communication/full of meaning
Innovation and artistic quality of visual presentation

Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) is one–stop cultural workshop, consists of : performance venue, bamboo handicraft centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Apart from that, SAU has an honorable function as an educational laboratory and training centre to preserve the Sundanese culture – Angklung in particular.

  • PLTP Derajat Garut

Darajat craters are mountainous locations in the Village Padaawas, Pasirwangi Garut district, where at founded geothermal resources are currently used as Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) Darajat. There are three wells thereon craters build geothermal power plants, each Darajat I, Darajat II, and Darajat III. This crater is adjacent to the crater of which lies on the border Kamojang Garut and Kabupaten Bandung. Currently managed by Darajat Geothermal Power Inc. Amoseas Indonesia., A subsidiary of Chevron Texaco, which is a pioneer in the management of geothermal projects. In managing the PLTP Darajat, Amoseas partnered with PT Pertamina and PT State Electricity Company (PLN) through its subsidiary, Indonesia Power.

Electrical energy generated by the three wells is large enough and meet the electricity supply in Java properties, and Bali. From the well Darajat I which started operating since November 1994 the electricity generated by 55 MW. From Darajat II wells began operation since 2000 generated electricity of 90 MW of energy. While Darajat started operating since the end of 2005 properties, and generate 100 MW of electrical energy. Electrical energy in the three wells were obtained from low-emission process that naturally use steam from volcanic regions. This energy is considered environmentally friendly and renewable energy pertained.

But the wealth of energy in the crater Darajat Berta not necessarily enlarge Ash Revenue (PAD) Garut regency. Because, when the pup Darajat operated properties, and construction started, the contract held by the central government. Garut community perceived advantage gained through the program only comunity Developement (development and community empowerment) that the number and scope is very limited. For that reason, the government of Garut and then demanding a more equitable sharing of benefits arising from the operation Darajat pup. Later, after lobbying at the central level, local governments ultimately are entitled to royalties from the exploitation of resources in Garut's bumf pangs.

The Asian-African Conference which was held on 18th to 24th April 1955 in Bandung gained a big success both in formulating common concerns and in preparing operational guidance for cooperation among Asian African Nation as well as in creating world order and world peace. The conference has had a result Dasasila Bandung, which became the guideline for the colonized countries in fighting for their independence. It also became the fundamental principles in promoting world peace and international cooperation. The success of the conference was not only for the time being but also for the time after so that the soul and spirit of the Asian-African Conference becomes one of the most important factor that deciding world history.
